Power loop module AP2-1

Power loop module 4-20mA offered by RADWAG has been designed for conversion of digital mass readout into analog signal. Power loop is a passive output, i.e. it requires additional power loop supply with 24VDC voltage.

CAUTION:
Power loop has resolution of 65536 levels. Thus, for weighing instruments with resolution higher than the one offered by power loop, e.g. for balance model APP 25/C (250 000 d), change of at least 4 reading units of a balance causes change of single level in the power loop. In case verifying unit is considered (25 000 e), this problem does not exist, as power loop resolution is higher and quantity of balance verifying units.

Application:

Power loop module AP2-1 has been designed for cooperation with weighing instruments based on PUE C/31 and PUE 7 indicators.

Power loop can reflect mass indication on its output as:


      • Direct value (no difference between positive or negative sign);
      • Positive values only;
      • Mass reading with ‘+’ or ‘-‘ sign.

Design :

AP2-1 power loop has plastic casing. It is powered from an external power adapter 230V/5V DC. AP2-1 and the powered adapter are offered as a set. Power loop outlet is a organized by double-conducted cable with length 1,7 m.
