One of the basic features of European common market is the rule of free flow of goods. European Union has certain legal regulations for control of goods, providing protection of customers against defective goods, not correctly marked and those which quantity is smaller than declared by the manufacturer.

Marking of a product by symbol is information for the consumer that the equipment meets all the requirements for control of packaged goods. This is one of the most basic conditions for exporting the equipment to the countries of European Community.
